I know this news is not new, but hey! I nak update jugak..tak kira..hahahaha

Kim Hyun Joong was in Kuala Lumpur on 20 Aug 2011-22 Aug 2011 to promote his new mini album "Break Down". Aside doing promotions, he attended another promotional activity as the celebrity who endorses Korean cosmetic brand The Face Shop. And he flew Malaysia Airlines, wohooo~~~

He arrived on 20th Aug morning, then there was a press conference at KL Hilton in the evening.

On 21st Aug, there was a HIGH FIVE session at The Gardens Hotel. Only those who purchase "Break Down" CD’s at the venue and win the draw get the the HIGH-FIVE passes as these passes are only limited to 500 fans.

And on 22nd Aug, he appeared at The Face Shop outlet at Pavillion in the morning and later at Berjaya Times Square. Fans need to purchase TFS products above RM200 on a single receipt with a minimum 1 item from FACE it BB range.   Everything must be on a single receipt with a minimum 1 item from FACE it BB range. At Pavillion, 10 top spenders from The Face Shop won an opportunity to take a solo photo with Kim Hyun Joong. While later at Berjaya Times Square, there was a fan-meeting and an auction session.

Then he leave Malaysia on Aug 23rd.

KARA to Release Comeback Album "Step" Early September

Heenim is leaving but other famous kpop girl group will be making Korean comeback next month. Last time So Nyuh Shi Dae, and now KARA, I like both group but I'm not that excited though.

KARA will be releasing their third official album followed by domestic promotions and activities.  They have been promoting overseas in Japan since their 4^th mini album entitled, “Jumping” released last year. . 

The new album called “Step” will mark KARA’s long awaited comeback to Korea.

The new album’s title track will be “Step”.  The single is being described as a sweet tune of the Rock and Electronica genre that is an exquisitely powerful and sophisticated synth-pop number.  The rhythm is freed and used in moderation, but also the sounds set the theme that is appropriate which follows the latest trends.

There a few other new songs to be found included on the album: "EY OH (Intro)”, "Date (My Boy)”, "Rider", “Strawberry”, "Follow”, and "KARA 4U (Outro)”.

Kim Hee-Chul of Super Junior will enlist in the Army on Sept 1

I really Love Super Junior but honestly I'm not Heechul bias. But when I read the news about his enlistment, I was shocked and really sad. Super Junior are currently promoting their new album 'Mr Simple' but suddenly Heenim will be leaving. Now it's only a week left.

My ultimate bias Donghae just got injured during KBS Dream Team recording and now Heechul is leaving, I don't think I can write anymore about this, it will make me sad. So I'll just copy paste the news from sup3rjunior.com.

Kim Hee-chul of Super Junior will enlist in the Army on Sept. 1 to fulfill his mandatory military service, his management agency SM Entertainment announced yesterday

Kim is planning to enter the Chungnam Nonsan Army Recruit Training Center and will go through four weeks of basic military training, after which he will serve in noncombat operations for 23 months.

Before enlisting, Kim will film one last episode of MBC’s “Golden Fishery-Radio Star” on Aug. 24. The show is one of the two Kim will have to give up in order to complete his military duty; the other is “Declaration of Freedom on Saturday” on KBS.

SM Entertainment said there are no plans for a grand send off for the star.
“Even though we expect a great deal of attention from Kim’s fans, we don’t plan on having a special event since Kim made it clear that he wants to join the Army without any fanfare,” SM Entertainment said.

Until he enlists, Kim will still be involved in promoting the band, which recently released its fifth album “Mr. Simple” earlier this month. The album includes a new song, “Superman.”
A second version of the album was released yesterday and a third version that includes DVDs will be released in the future.

Super Junior Kim Heechul’s enlistment is just around the corner and he shares his thoughts with us.
Kim Heechul said through a phone call this morning, “Because I enlist late, I want to go quietly. In fact, I wanted to announce my enlistment through Leeteuk’s radio.”

“But if I choose to depart quietly when the amount of love and support I receive recently has been really great, it just does not seem right. Come to think of it, you heard the news from my agency.”

“It hasn’t been long since Super Junior’s 5th album ‘Mr Simple’ was first released and is currently going so well. At first, I wanted to delay the enlistment, but I think it will be better to do it when it feels right as I already want this. I admit that the process that I took to arrive to this decision was not easy.”

“I will continue to take part in the remaining activities before coming back home to Gangwon-do. I have lots of things to do there.”

He also thanked members and fans who respect his decision.

I am thankful to Super Junior’s members. They told me shyly “we can’t do it without hyung”, it makes me flattered. Once I am gone, I believe Super Junior will do just as fine” he laughed.

“Thank you for your constant support since 6 years ago, but I won’t ask you to wait for me. When it is time for me to resume my activities, please give me your support.” Heechul said in a witty manner.

Meanwhile, Kim Heechul will be admitted to Chungnam Military Camp on September 1st and will be receiving basic military training for 4 weeks before serving as public service personnel for 23 months.

Kim Heechul was involved in a terrible car accident in the summer of 2006 and had to undergo a major surgery in which he had 8 metal rods put in his leg. It is why he will only be serving as public service personnel.

Kim Heechul’s eloquent and unique wit has made him loved by many and acquired a nickname ‘Space Big Star’.

Public Service Personnel” is one who could work as deliveryman, selling of tickets…etc. The working place could be at Train stations or anyway. As they are celebrities, they may put on cap and mask when they work. And their working hours are fixed, knocking off at 6pm KST.(Timing wise i am not very clear, as i am not clear about the military systems. Every country differ.) Below is a picture of a Korean male celebrity. This is what he does as a Public Service Personnel.

Sebelum start me-review, please note that I'm not even Korean, so review ini adalah berdasarkan halwa telinga ku semata-mata.

Album ni memuatkan 12 lagu, 5 lagu baru and a special version of 'Ma Boy'. Lagu-lagu dalam album ni seronok untuk didengar, but for me, takde lagu dalam album ni yang buat aku ketagih nak dengar berulang kali tapi semua lagu boleh tahan sedap.

Vocal Hyorin yang sangat mantap memang tak boleh dinafikan tapi kebanyakan lagu dalam album ni tak mencabar vocal dia. (Kalau tak caya suara Hyorin sedap, sila bukak youtube carik video dia nyanyi solo)

Disebabkan mereka membawa genre POP, R&B and Dance, dalam album ni takde lagu ballad yang mendayu-dayu. Lagu rentak slow ade la macam "I Don't Want a Weak Man", tapi lagu mendayu-dayu tu takde. Tapi lagu ni pun bukan lagu baru, it had been released  in their 2nd Single Album "Shady Girl" in August 2010.

About the tracklist, I don't really like the 1st, ""Let’s Get the Party Started" sebab starting dia tah macam ape je. Tapi lagu "So Cool", "Girls Do It", dan "Follow Me" best. Lagu rancak yang tak menyakitkan halwa telinga.

Lagu dari tracklist 6-11 semua tu lagu lama dari 1st, 2nd and 3rd Single Album mereka. Tapi yang paling sedap nak layan "How Dare You", "Shady Girl", dan "Push Push".

And the last track, "Ma Boy" is released by the sub-unit Sistar19. This special version of "Ma Boy" is better than the original.

best tak album ni?
hmmm..just good..

berapa bintang nak bagi?
hmmm..3.5/5 okay? or 6.5/10?

berbaloikah beli album ni?

Protect the Boss

Nampaknya rakan kongsi syarikatbelog agak gigih mengupdate, maka aku up satu entry, ok. Kali ni pasal drama Protect the Boss.

Agak-agak ramai fans drama Korea layan drama ni mesti sebab budak JYJ tu kan, si Jejung. Tapi aku, tak. Ha.ha.ha. Kalau Yunho yang act, adalah compulsory untuk mengikuti drama ini! Ngehehe Tapi kali ni, the main reason I’m rooting for this drama is none-other than the main leads themselves. Choi Kang Hee and Ji Sung, yay!!

Choi Kang Hee, a 4-D actress, radio DJ and has her own clothing brand, Nowhere333 ialah salah sorang actress Korea yang aku stalk dari dulu lagi. LOL Kenapa? Simply because of her fashion sense as well as her unique antics. Jo Kwon’s ideal woman ni first time aku mula ‘minat’ lepas layan drama Rules of Love, the very first same drama yang juga buat aku jatuh chenta sama pak cik Kim Min Jong. I did some reviews for this drama in my own pathetic blog, here and the second part, here..reviews yang takdak ending! =P Biasanya aku tak berapa nak focus perhatikan outfit lead actress dalam drama, Choi Kang Hee adalah actress pertama yang aku tenung semua outfits beliau dalam Rules of Love. Mungkin sebab aku lebih tertarik kepada fashion sense dia yang agak santai gitew.

Ji Sung. Jauh lebih kacak dari Park Ji Sung uhuk uhuk. Bernama real-kan Kwak Tae Gun, siapa tak kenal beliau, sila rendam henfon dlm baldi berisi air sekarang! Berjiwang sakan dalam drama Save Your Last Dance for Me and an adorkable (adorable+dorky) intern dalam drama New Heart aku kira memang sesuailah sangat untuk pegang watak chaebol’s son yang spoilt brat untuk drama Protect the Boss ni. Stay away from his stereotype watak serius gila macam dalam previously watak kat Swallow the Sun, Kim Soo Roo and Royal Family, kukira boleh kot budak ni bawa watak sengal-sengal plak kali ni.

Aku baru ja layan 2 episodes pertama cuz currently being aired, download raw video baru 4 episodes tapi subtitles punya srt yang released cuma sampai episode 3 ja setakat ini. Dan aku review 2 episod pertama ja dulu, k.

No Eun Seol (Choi Kang Hee) seorang budak gangster masa dia sekolah dulu. Kaki pukul sebab tu result masa sekolah dia dulu adalah sangat tak best. (Jeep, agak-agak abe TOP kita dulu kaki pukul jugak kah?? =P) Then, masuk kolej, dia pulun belajar habis-habisan sampai berdarah idong siap selamba tenuk ja dia reject dak laki ajak couple bawak bunga segala tapi aktif dalam persatuan yang macam ketua rusuhan, demonstrasi…errrm, apakah maksudku ini??

Bila dah abis belajar, dia dan kawan dia, Lee Myung Ran (Ha Jae Sook) yang agak gempal lagi sama-sama pengamok gak cam dia mula terhegeh-hegeh nak cari kerja tetap tapi result masa belajar adalah sangat pathetic maka agak sukar nak cari steady job. No Eun Seol ni keeps on hunting for job yang ada kaitan dengan kesetiausahaan. Interview sana sini, randomly sending resume dan akhirnya dia dapat kerja tapi jadik secretary boss mafia yang suka raba pompuan la pulak. Annoy gila dan No Eun Seol pun pedajalkan sorang-sorang mafia tu termasuk boss dia sekali.

Cha Ji Heon (Ji Sung) pula the only son of Chairman Cha (Park Young Kyu) yang perangai bapak dia ni pun tukang pukul gak sama cam No Eun Seol kegersangan pewaris syarikat bila anak sulung dia mati kot…dan tinggallah Ji Heon ja satu-satunya harapan untuk jadi pewaris company. Masalahnya, Ji Heon adalah seorang anak yang…susah gua nak cakap. Dia ni macam-macam masalah ada dalam diri. Actually, budak ni ada panic disorder. Masalah tak leh pergi tempat ramai orang, takut tempat gelap, tak leh bersentuhan dengan orang, balik-balik mintak hand sanitizer lepas jabat tangan! Secretary dia pun tak leh tahan dengan sikapnya yang terlampau mengarah. Jawatan adalah Head Department tapi datang pejabat pun lambat, balik dari pejabat plak awal, ada meeting selamba ja dia cancel, masa meeting, melukis la menulis la..komik Slam Dunk adalah peneman setia. Sila lihat gaya rambut~

 

Dan sehinggalah Cha Moo Won (Hero Jejung), anak lelaki yang serba perfect dalam dunia bisnes, kepada kakak ipar merangkap pesaing utama Chairman Cha, means dia ni cousin kepada Ji Heon, melantik No Eun Seol menjadi setiausaha kepada Ji Heon…

Seo Na Yoon (Wang Ji Hye) pula mula muncul di akhir episode 2. Agak-agak ex-gf Ji Heon maybe. Dan agak susah untuk aku benci dak pompuan ni cuz aku suka gila watak antagonist muka tak reti nak malu beliau dalam Personal Taste. Pffftt.

Overall, 2 episod pertama memang berjaya bikin gegar aku punya perut! Memang lawak gila! Gandingan Choi Kang Hee dan Ji Sung memang mantooop bak kata Samsul Gagaugagau. Ehh~

Paling tak bleh blah, No Eun Seol punyalah miskin konon gaya hidup tapi outfit dia sepanjang 2 episode tu tak pernah pun sama! Samalah perihalnya dengan watak Geum Jandi dalam Boys Over Flower, bekerja di kedai bubur saja tapi mampu menyarung jumper dan hoodies yang branded gila…
